It’s amazing how people come into our lives, rearrange not just our furnitures but bits and pieces of our character, our personality and our lives in general. Then, when they leave us, nothing remain the same. Things have already changed and no matter how hard you try to put your life back to the way it was before they came, you can never do it again. You just find yourself different. Your life…changed. No matter how hard you try, it will not be the same as before. The water had been stirred and it will not be as still as it was before.  Even if it already quiets down and becomes still again, the stone that stirs it will remain underneath.

When they leave, you find yourself unable to stand up for a while. Sitting or lying still, unable to move.  Mourning and crying over that which is gone. But as time pass by, the water will be still again. You stand up and walk again. Then someone else will enters your life.   A stone has been thrown again, stirring the water.  Things will change again, but this time who knows… the one who came may have come to stay and never leave.
