Just the other day, the news featured a story about a couple who shoplifted a pair of shoes for their child.  It breaks my heart to hear news like this one. Such love of parents for their child that they are willing to commit a crime just to make them happy.  It also pains me that some people do not have enough money to buy something as basic as a pair of shoes while some people have hundreds of pairs that they do not even use.

The couple got convicted.  It reminds me of the story Les Miserables.  It is amazing how love can move people to do extraordinary things.  How love can make us make sacrifices just to make our loved ones smile.  How we are willing to walk a mile further just to meet them.  How we lose ourselves so they can be whole.  I hope to find such love.  I have found it in my family, I hope to find it in your arms as well.
