i blinked my eyes, hoping it’s just a vision
i reached by my side, trying to feel you there
but then you’re gone… really gone

i dream of you coming back to me
i long for you, holding me tenderly
i long for the arms that protects me
now, it’s the arms that shatters me

my heart cried when i lost forever
my hand is cold but i’ve got no one to hold
my body’s numb but no sign of comfort
my mind is thinking… it’s time to move on

i walked a mile, looking back
i searched my heart, the pain is gone
i’m walking alone but not for long
